A short really scenic ride that you can take your kids on for a leisurely trundle. The pedestrians in the area are not as thick as nearby Iron Cove. Mostly the trail is for going slow on and there is a point at Bayview Point where you must walk your bike for a 100 metres through a private estate.
Its really easy to extend this trip up into Drummoyne and Iron Cove and even across the river to Putney but those options all involve going on some roads. See The Sydney Map for more
13km return trip. Really easy, great for teens. Take any bike, be prepared to go real slow and enjoy a lot of scenery. Get to by car or arrive on the River Cat ferry at Cabarita Point.
